ABOUT ME
Owner, operator Gary Brooksby launched Nomad Global Logistics on retiring from the UKs Royal Air Force, where he spent 25 years crossing the globe facilitating mainly aviation faceted logistics. Skilled, vastly experienced and world traveled, he wanted to put his expertise to use in the commercial world.
He has planned and executed logistical demands of complex consignments for the military, United Nations, Gov’t, NATO and industry. His skills have been used by NGOs where he has coordinated disaster relief and humanitarian assistance across Africa, the Caribbean and most notably during Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines where he was recognized for his contribution.
As a professional who is very well traveled, Gary is diplomatic, culturally astute and understands the social and political sensitivities of the many counties around the world, vital for developing a strong personal and professional network. Gary holds a Bachelors degree in Logistics Management and he has traveled to 123 countries so far. He holds both a UK and Canadian passport due to his dual citizenship. Furthermore he has been vetted and cleared by both the UK Gov’t, NATO and currently holds the status of cleared Secret in Canada.
